About Me

Founder & Travel Consultant

Hi, I’m Lisa! Born and raised in Puerto Rico with family roots in St. Barths, I grew up exploring the Virgin Islands by plane and sea. The vibrant warmth of the Caribbean is quite literally in my DNA! As an adult, that lifelong love for exploration expanded into a now decade-long annual tradition of visiting Walt Disney World, learning exactly what it takes to orchestrate a magical vacation that just feels easy.

After a career in marketing, wellness coaching, and the higher education & events industries, I found my way back to my childhood love of travel. I realized I could apply my project management skills to help busy families reclaim their vacations. A Caribbean girl now living in the Midwest, I bring authentic insider knowledge, a love for great food, and a knack for listening to what truly makes your dream getaway tick.

Everbright Travel was created to remove the friction from family travel by turning complex itineraries into effortless escapes. From luxury all-inclusive resorts to magical Disney cruises, I handle the logistics, schedules, and strategies so you can skip the spreadsheet fatigue. My goal is simple: to deliver a vacation that is thoughtful, easy, and memorable.

Whether you’re wrangling a multi-generational family reunion or escaping to a tropical paradise, I handle the heavy lifting so that you and your loved ones can simply show up & have fun!

Why Should I Contact A Travel Consultant?

Planning a vacation with the help of a dedicated travel professional means that you get to save yourself dozens of hours of stress. You also gain an experienced advisor who handles logistics, secures exclusive perks, and advocates for you every step of the way.

How Much Does A Travel Consultant Charge?

Most travel professionals work for commission. While it’s true that some advisors charge extra fees, planning your vacation with Everbright Travel costs you zero extra dollars – You only pay for what you book.

What’s The Catch?

No catch – Here’s how it works: Travel suppliers, such as hotels, cruise lines, and tour operators, already have a built-in commission rate from their own marketing budget included in their standard rate. Whether this commission goes to an individual agent, or a online big-box travel retailer, the standard rate is the same.

When you book with a travel advisor, the supplier pays the advisor directly, which means no extra cost to you.

Isn’t It Cheaper To Book With An Online Retailer?

Sometimes yes, but mostly no. Let’s talk about a common myth surrounding big-box travel retailers (eg. Costco, Booking, Expedia, Priceline, etc.):

❌ FALSE: Big-box travel retailers “buy in bulk” and “re-sell at a lower rate”.

✅ TRUE: Big-box retailers reserve in bulk and undercut their own commission because they know they have bigger volume than individual agents and mom-and-pop agencies.

The reserved bulk also typically includes unpopular rooms, cabins, or are conditioned to unfavorable seasons. Travelers become unknowingly locked into that agreement and are unable to make direct changes with the supplier later on.

In contrast, travel professionals have direct access to the supplier, and are able to make changes and broker special perks that the online retailer cannot offer.

What If Something Goes Wrong During My Trip?

This is the best part about having a dedicated agent. If something goes wrong during your trip, such as a delay or a problem with your room, you simply contact me directly.

I will do my best to take care of it for you so that you can skip wasting hours of yelling “Representative!” on the phone and actually focus on your fun. 😄

I Have More Questions…

Of course you do! Contact me and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.
